California Quadruple Crown Winner- Viv Ncaus Koom Siab

With the Hmong SNC 2021 #1 dance team Ntxhais Koom Pheej (NKP) not competing this year, VNKS has dominated the California Hmong New Years’ dance competition. Viv Ncaus Koom Siab took 1st in all four of the major Hmong New Years’ in California (Sacramento, Stockton, Merced, and Fresno).

They performed their signature style of fast-paced, energetic dances at each competition and wowed the crowd. Hmong SNC wants to recognize Viv Ncaus Koom Siab as the California Quadruple Crown Winner in Hmong Dance. As a result, they are the #1 dance team for 2022.

The team is composed of talented young dancers who are passionate about carrying on our cultural dance traditions. Their moves, intricate choreography, and costumes have earned them much admiration from audiences across California.

2022 was their year! They travel out of state to compete in Lacrosse and took home 1st place. They also competed in Oklahoma. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they reigned supreme over all the other dance teams in California.

The VNKS dancers truly showed what it means to be an elite Hmong dance team, and we can only expect more greatness from them in the future!

VNKS is an inspiration to all Hmong dancers, showing what dedication and hard work can achieve. We wish them continued success as they continue to shine on stage!

This is just a testament to how much talent there is in the Hmong community and we hope more teams will step up and compete at a high level. Let’s keep our eyes out for some great competitions this year in California! We can’t wait to see who will be crowned California’s Best Hmong Dance Team in 2023.
