Allison Moua

My name is Allison Moua and I am a member and team captain of Viv Ncaus Koom Siab. I will soon be 18 in April and a senior in high school. Some things about me is that I am a big family person, I love being with my dance sisters, and going out with my friends and family. I have a quirky personality and enjoy talking to all my peers. Being in Viv Ncaus Koom Siab for six years has taught me many things but the most important lesson is, teamwork. We live up to our name as "Sisters in Harmony" by working together as one big family. We don't only just dance with one another, we love and care for each other as we grow and overcome challenges. We began Viv Ncaus Koom Siab in 2015 and we have all grown to be who we are today in 2022, stronger than ever together in harmony. Being part of this team has been so emotional and brought me so much joy. I always feel the love and positivity from my dance sisters. Through our frustrations in practices, our bliss in performances, our emotions in competitions, our adventures as dance sisters, our ups and downs, our good and bad, the connection with Viv Ncaus Koom Siab is indescribable and beyond words. I could not have asked for a better team. I thank them for trusting me and allowing me to be their team captain for so many years. Not only do I have my dance sisters to thank for my growth, I have my two wonderful amazing coaches who also believed in me and taking me in under their wings and loving me as their own and made me who I am today.
