Maxie Xiong

Hello, My name is Maxie Xiong. I am the dance lead and founder of Ntxhais Keeb Kwm. I have been Hmong dancing for 10+ years now, even tho it has been a decade the dance memories remained as if it was just yesterday. A long time ago the 12 year old in me would’ve never imagine that I’ll come this far with my dancing journey, I’d always thought it was a middle school thing where I dance for fun with my friends and once I’m done w/ school it’ll be the end, but that wasn’t the case that was only the beginning. Truth is once you start hmong dancing the passion you have for dancing never leaves you alone, it only continues. My passion towards hmong dancing grew as it shaped me to become more confident as an individual. Ntxhais Keeb Kwm have come a long way and all I can say is that NKK is my Dream Team. During my spare time outside of dancing I love crafting, sewing and creating new projects to do. One quote I stand by is “Follow your passion. Find that something that makes you want to work at it.
