Hi, my name is Stephanie Moua, and this’ll be my third-year dancing competitively. This year had challenged me the most as I took role in co-leading Nkauj Seev Txuj. As a child, I used to dance in front of my TV screen and pretended I was on stage. My first dance group was Ntxhais Qaim Hli and over the years, we created Nkauj Seev Txuj. Hmong dancing has taught me so much about leadership, dedication, commitment, and our Hmong culture. It brought me out of my shell. Besides dancing, I like to sing, go shopping, and sleep lol. I hope to inspire other young women/men to continue to spread our Hmong culture through dance.
